Fun things you can do with bubble wrap

So you have moved home, and you have lots of large bubble wrap roll that you used to protect your things, but now you have no idea what you can do with the bubble wrap. You might want to use it for storage purposes, or you might want to use it to protect things that you are shipping in the post. You might want to simply recycle it, or pass it onto a local business that has a use for it. But there are other fun things that you can do with bubble wrap, that are brilliant and exciting, and are definitely ideas that you should consider!

So what are they?

  • Popping the bubbles from extra strong bubble wrap is excellent fun, and you can have hours and hours of fun with that. Children love it too, and the popping sound is very exciting for them. If you need a great way to entertain the kids, then this is definitely an option for you. After you have popped all of the air bubbles, then you can still recycle the material, or use it for waterproofing something, so it is not wasted. You can pop the bubbles one by one or lots at a time, the choice is yours!
  • If you are little old for popping bubbles and you fancy something a little more dangerous and risky, then you could tape a large roll of bubble wrap for moving UK to your stomach. Get somebody else to do the same, and you can have a fun game of sumo wrestling or bump into each other. It can be great fun, but quite dangerous too if you are not careful, so remember to keep it playful.
  • You could lay out the high-quality bubble wrap on the floor with many layers, of at least one hundred layers or more, and you could stand on a chair and jump onto the bubbles, and it will give you a soft landing. Make sure you have enough layers to give a soft landing, because if you do not have enough, then it will feel like you’re jumping onto a hard floor which is not exactly fun and can be very painful. If you have loads of bubble wrap available, then you can jump from higher distances too and that can be even more extreme and fun.
